We could walk you through our executive
search process. Because that’s what a good firm
should do — even if it is kind of obvious.
Or we can sidestep the boring part and talk about what matters.
When we sat down to draft this website, the section detailing our process was by far the longest. But when we read it over, it didn’t sound too different from what any other good search firm would say about process. And, more than that, it really missed the point. So we decided to do a short version and put it on its own page. If you want to feel reassured that we do indeed have a systematic approach to search, you can review the major steps in For the Record (to the right).

Now that we’ve set the glaringly obvious to one side, what do we think really matters in MorinBarton’s approach to search? The fact that our process — our entire business — pivots on the close relationship we build with you. The steps in our methodology don’t mean anything until they’re in sync with your organization’s needs, goals, values and aspirations.

But for us it goes much deeper than that. Recruiting top talent is an energizing, often inspiring experience. But it can also get very stressful for all concerned. We’re here to support you through both sides of that story. We want to drive success with passion, to strengthen confidence with trust and, above all, to build relationships that last. This is a very personal business, and we take it very personally — because we know you do, too.
